6,000 in South Stand. Maybe 600 in 3rd Tier, And maybe 1,500 in first 3 rows all around the ground. So an approximate 8000?
Sad to say but it looks like lots remain. Could be that the people who have not bought because they could not get a £299 SC may regret not doing so, come next year they could have had first dibs at downsizing to a £299 card.Out of interest, have we nearly sold out on the season tickets by now, or is there a substantial amount left?
It was always obvious the waiting list was so long because so many wanted £299 tickets. I hope the club catered for this and expected the numbers that have been returned. If not then they will need to look at prices in a hell of a lot of detail to ensure that attendances justify the expansion.
They won't know final figure until all the seats are in place. They have to create additional disabled spaces and are looking at various locations to put them in also top rows might be too tight for seats to go in with roof angle. In last few seasons they have been squeezing in extra seats around top of each end next to the boxes and they will attempt similar once build is completeHave they said what the actually capacity will be? I know 55,000 is the official figure but have they really carried out the extension in such a way that it ends up with precisely 55,000 seats. Wont it be be 55,000 plus or minus a couple of hundred?
For the hundredth time, I expect the club to aggressively price season tickets towards the beginning of the season. My guess is by offering that cheap deal where you don't chose your seat, to new customers only. It makes sense to exhaust full price sales, then get the signings in, then discount. We were never going to get an extra 8000 regular fans out of thin air without super cheap tickets.
I looked online and the numbers left are limited to the back 8 or so rows in the 3rd tiers and the front rows in tier 1 in the corners & the front rows at the North Stand. I'd be surprised if we aren't well above 40kFor the hundredth time, I expect the club to aggressively price season tickets towards the beginning of the season.
