What was supposed to be a quiet few pints tonight, in preparation for tomorrow, turned into a full-on session after one of my mates inconsiderately announced that he was expecting his first child.

I'm going to be rough as a buzzard's crotch tomorrow, but will still be there so no excuses from those who have promised to attend. I'll be the sheepish one, sweating profusely in the corner.
