I don't know if its worth asking but the waldorf has a function room upstairs if there's going to be a big turnout, if we ring the landlord I'm sure he'll open it up. He did for us a few months ago. I dont think he charged for opening it up but we did all put a couple of quid in each for a bit of a buffet.

I phoned and asked before the QPR game and got a bit of short shrift. But on this occasion I should imagine it would be different particularly if we chuck a few quid in for an extra member of staff if needed.
