The Walking Dead(NO SPOILERS)

This last series has lost me.once you've seen one zombie get it in the head you've seen them all.dexter all the way for me.if you want lots of blood and gore, sex, naked fit men and naked fit women spartacus on sky 1 is for you, catch it from 2 series ago if you can but can pick up this current one

Rick currently looks like my sister when she has tonsillitus; watery eyes, croaky as fuck and dips his after every word as if it causes great physical pain to speak.

It does have still have it's 'ooooooff' moments when the odd zombie is disposed of in fantastically disgusting fashion.

Michonne's arse is quality as well.

Just a heads up, season 2 is quite slow but its worth watching for season 3.

It's not slow if you watch it all at once. That's what I did and I found season 2 better than season 1 and much better than season 3 with three episodes left.

Really? I thought it was going downhill a bit during season 2 and it picked up a lot for me in season 3.

Yeah I enjoyed season 2 but then I watched a few episodes at a time.

To be honest, with a week between episodes I'd find any/all shows fucking dull.

I'm currently watching Season 3 weekly and struggling as forty mins a week isn't enough for me.

I'm only 2 episodes into season two but I'm enjoying it more than the first season, it may seem slower but it, so far, is developing the story lines a little more.

I know the thread says no spoilers but feel I needed to vent my frustrations...

Nearly everything which was great about the graphic novels they've ripped out and stamped all over it. Dragging this feud out with the Govenor and Rick is, from a viewers perspective, is quite ridiculous in my opinion ; it's the drab searching for Sophia story-line all over again. Gone past caring of what happens with Andrea tbh...she's a weak minded feeble version of the character in the novels and that's mainly due to needless killing off of one of the best and most human characters in the show, Dale. The only reason I carry on watching is I live in hope this show actually might build some momentum and improve. S3 started off promising but so gradually as the season as progressed the writing on this show has been atrocious and lazy if you ask me.

Don't get me wrong I'm all for building up character story-lines. I can quite happily watch a few episodes of Boardwalk Empire, The Sopranos or Breaking Bad as those shows contain lots of different contrasting characters which are interesting to watch as their individual personalities are much deeper - whereas I get the impression the TWD characters are more aesthetically pleasing. It's so obvious they're dragging the show out to make way for another series which is disappointing but people seem to be lapping this shit up.

*...and breathe*

I've not bothered with Spartacus since about episode 3 of the current season. The actor playing Spartacus is not as good as the last one and the best characters have been killed off. It just isn't the same without John Hannah in it.

The Walking Dead just gets better every week. It's the best thing on TV until GOT returns.
