Well, you agree then if that we play anything like our potential we could go on a big run. Consistent team selection, the big players back, and only the league to concentrate on (subject to point #2) gives me faith

Today reminded me of the 0-0 draw at QPR in late Jan of the 12/13 season, that was when I decided we couldn't win the league that season and that was exactly how I felt at the final whistle today. I admire your optimism but I think we've left ourselves too much reliance on Chelsea fucking up in a big way.

I admire your optimism but I think we've left ourselves too much reliance on Chelsea fucking up in a big way.

It's not just a case of that. We dropped 2 points at home in 11/12. 5 points in 13/14 and so far have dropped 12 with 7 games to go including 7 to Stoke, Burnley and Hull. That alone tells me we are going to struggle to repeat it.

Add that to the tough away fixtures we have in the second half of the season that predictably we are struggling to win already (Everton/Chelsea) and it's going to be tough to get to 80 points.

The team need to stand up and be counted starting at another never win ground on Wednesday and start to make me believe again because currently I can't confidently predict us winning any game let alone Stoke or Liverpool away.

I also remember the anti-climax that was 2012/13. That also brought tears to this face!
