The 'We Will Win the Title' Thread (merged)

Re: The 'We Will Win the Title' Thread

Our squad depth and general quality in it could still be vital but that looks far away at the moment.

It is all to play for but we can't fall further behind because that would be very hard to come back from.
Mourinho is not in the habit of giving others an inch and will not let his team drop one bit regarding intensity.

He may even come out with stuff like "ahh it is easy this season" but you could bet your last penny he is driving them like slaves under a cracked whip focus and intensity wise.

Spot on!

Yes but not for another two seasons. The team needs an overhaul and it will take time for us to change our strategy approach to games. The current one is easy to defend against.

Re: The 'We Will Win the Title' Thread

I am confident we will win more especially with these owners but not this year and most likely not next year either.

Big changes over the next two years and some may be surprised at some of the manes that will go.

It's a huge dillema.Major overhaul and sacrifice the next 2 seasons perhaps to rule Europe after that? Or carry on the way we are, replace players bit by bit and perhaps win a league and cup over the next two seasons, making little progress.

I believe the owners will opt for the former, and whilst I am not a fan of major overhauls at all, carry on like this and we make little progress, if any, and they owners will do everything to prevent this.

What people forget, is that yeh...on paper chelsea have the easier run in but they still have to play the likes of burnley, west brom, hull, qpr etc - all teams fighting for their lives that will play out of their skins against them. Look at what sunderland did last season. People forget this. Garunteed theyll drop points. Plus they still have to play rags, liverpool & arse.

Im pretty confident we'll still be in it come may. Even if we dont win, we'll be going out with a fight.

At the moment we are doing the exact opposite of going out with a fight. We are laying down arms and surrendering.

Re: The 'We Will Win the Title' Thread

Sadly there have been too many players out of form (Vinny, whoever plays alongside Vinny, Zabba, Dzeko, Jovetic).
Fernando and Fernandinho (both these two look like minor league players) should never play together, why Milner did not start was a mystery yesterday.
Kun has not hit his form of earlier in the season.

I fear once Yaya and Bony return, it may be too late, but let's hope not!

Me too, drop points at Joke City and Yaya and Bony won't make any difference in the title race.
