Does anybody know- if the dossier was destroyed, are there particular procedures that have to be adhered to in the first place? Did someone have to evaluate it and decide that it wasn't worth keeping? If so, who and when?

He would have his team of researchers conduct a " focus group" into which of the above list the public would prefer he pull his finger out of, then he would announce that it is a good day for the country because he had pulled his finger out ,and he had pulled it out of whichever article or person the public wanted him to, so he is clearly listening to , and in touch with the british people.

Geoffrey Dickens was a profoundly decent man, who did the right and proper thing in trying to expose what he believed to be an insidious evil that was going on in plain sight of the authorities, he suffered many break-ins and threats after he exposed Peter Hayman using Parliamentary privilege, showing how deep the scandal went

I find it hard to beleive that he did not leave a copy of the dossier with someone for safe keeping

I am sure that within time the names will come out, it will take a long time for the public to forgive the establishment over this, but in the end it needs to out in the public eye, if any of the perpetrators are still alive they should of course be brought to justice, but so should those who participated in any cover up to save their own backsides
