Seeing you posting here my heart skipped a beat. I thought for one fleeting but joyous moment that perhaps Morrissey had died.
Françoise Hardy, l’idole des sixties, est morte à l'âge de 80 ans
Françoise Hardy est décédée ce 11 juin, à l'âge de 80 ans. Elle souffrait d'une longue maladie. Selon ses proches, "elle est partie apaisée".

Hardy was a sensational star in the early sixties. The Young of Britain fell in love with French culture. The author Françoise Sagan had a best seller with Aimez vous Brahms.? Hardy was very beautiful and retained her looks into her 70s.
