She was also great in Lady Chatterley's Lover . She played Mrs. Bolton who was the nurse who looked after wheelchair bound Sir Clifford Chatterley.
(Sean Bean was Mellors and Joely Richardson was Lady Chatterley).

She was in one of my greatest films, Saturday Night Sunday Morning as the love interest of Albert Finney after he'd finished knocking about with the wife of a work colleague.

The work colleague was Jack (Bryan Pringle) and his wife in Saturday Night, Sunday Morning was brilliantly played by Rachel Roberts.
And she ended up pregnant and went to a back street abortionist played by Hylda Baker .

That's very sad. I knew him when I lived in Bury and before he got famous.

Wow what a beautiful woman, i believe she was born in London but was moved to a childrens home in Edgeworth during the second world war, a small place i have cycled through many times up on the moors above Ramsbottom.

The Roly Polys’ Mo Moreland.

Had the absolute pleasure of spending an afternoon with her and Les Dawson’s widow Tracey’s company when we all shared a table together at a youth & junior rugby league event in Blackpool.

She was an absolute delight and we were totally enthralled by her stories of her and Les’s life in showbiz. After finishing with her troupe she had become a tiny shadow of the woman we all remembered her as but she still stole the afternoon with her tales and was very friendly and unassuming. Am gutted RIP
