The worst sport to watch live ?

No one said baseball? Went to Yankee stadium last year and I didn't have a clue what was going on. I actually understand why they have shit loads of bars and restaurants in the ground as a distraction from the mind numbing action on the field.
Up until a year ago this would have been my first choice answer.
My view was baseball made cricket look interesting.
However, we got loads of free tickets at work (work in a kids home) for the Tampa Yankees (a New York Yankees feeder team who play games in the Yankees Spring training stadium) which is Minor League games. The kids love it so reluctantly allowed them to drag me along (as I had to drive them!)
After a few games where I ignored the game I started watching it and now I'm really into it.
Once you get over the fact it is grown men playing rounders, it is good! All tactics and thinking.
I finally went kids free two weeks ago for the first time, on my non work days and was able to enjoy a decent number of IPA''s at $5 a pint!

Chess is painful live. F1 is just a rich mans scaelextric. Fishing is a on Sky FFS
Don't have a go at fishing I thought it got very exciting near the end :)
I had tickets for yesterday I told my mate can't be arsed and watched it on telly well when I said watched it I was gardening then popped in and out to see what's going on, love fishing watching for the non angler would be shit

Horse Racing - agree.

Snooker - boring

Darts - don't mind on Tv as quite relaxing but being there -not for me.

Anything to do with cars and boats

Cycling - yawn

To be honest I only really like Football and cricket live.

I imagine you are a lot closer to the action watching the Tampa Yankees and it grabs the attention more. We were right up in the gods at Yankee stadium, I do find it weird they have a memorial park to their players who have past on at the end of the field you can go look round. Could you imagine if we built one next to the corner flag at the Etihad.

great fun. Relaxing day, competitive cricket and sample a nice lunch and plenty of drink for a pittance.
I have understand that, but as a sport it's shockingly boring.

Poker or bridge (OK, they're games, but). And incidentally, it takes intelligence to appreciate two-innings cricket, be it county or Test. Just because it's not slog slog slog everything doesn't mean it's not competitive.

Surely the marathon or cycling. I mean at least in F1 you see the cars come round more than once.

I love cycling on the telly, and I've watched Le Tour when it skirted Rochdale but four or five hours waiting, several false alarms and, depending on where you chosen to spectate, WHOOSH! And they're gone! I suppose the upside is that yer don't need a ticket!
