New article by David Mooney on the blog now:

<a class="postlink" href="http://www.bluemoon-mcfc.co.uk/Blog/index.php/2012/12/13/the-yaya-toure-conundrum/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.bluemoon-mcfc.co.uk/Blog/ind ... conundrum/</a>

As the article says , 'we do need the real Yaya back' , and this forthcoming African tournament is a real bind , both to us and to the player himself .... he looks jaded enough now , without having to travel over there and play in that.

We'll all get a chance to see how ridiculous this observation is when he toddles off to ACN- even a half performing yaya is better than 90% of the prems midfielders, class is permanent, when the inevitable change of gear happens it may be the catalyst for our title charge, the same could be said for kun, kompany, the entire spine of the team has underperformed yet we're still 2nd and yet to kick on...... Patience is a virtue!!!!!

i thought he still hadnt decided whether he is going or not... hope he doesnt go... what a boost that will be to everybody and a show of commitment to the team that will hopefully make them kick on and win the double, SHUTTING EVERY MAN AND HIS DOG UP!!!

Re: "The Yaya Toure Conundrum"

For me when yaya came back last season he was well motivated thanks Wayne you rug headed tosspot?

Its a well thought out article but at the end of the day have we got anybody better in that position?

I think he's an arse if he goes to the AFCON,should get his priorities right and help the club that employs and needs him.

Joke of a competition anyway.

Have said to anybody that will listen to me,there is not that much wrong with our squad except players not putting a shift in for a full 90 minutes, motivation. If we had played to the level which we know we can, there is not a team in England that could live with us.We don't need any more signings,We need Roberto to get these players performing again regular. It really is time to manage what we have.
