I do find it amusing that some posters talk about Walcott as if he is an average Championship footballer. He simply isn't.
He is inconsistent and has brain farts but he is talented, and as we know very quick. He has something like 20 goals and 20 assists over the last two seasons. Not bad considering he has missed a fair amount of games. He also has a habit of performing in big games.
I don't necessarily think he is the ideal signing for us but he is nowhere near as bad as some on here make out.

To sign Walcott would be silly. He has no end product. Rather have SS.

Can be amazing going past players - look at those runs v Liverpool in the champs league a while back. He's just too nice though.
