Bloody hell, I only had a few minutes of polite and in awe of the ledge.

I have a friend who you could describe as a mountaineer.

He gave assistance on a film Rickman has been involved in - it's about a guy called George Mallory and an expedition to Everest in 1920s.

Hans, sorry, Alan, is doing one of the voice overs or something.

Merely in between some filming in New York and London at present, so his hangers-on were all chin-wagging.

But not beyond the realms in terms an actor with a sideline in black humour?

Having just recalled, he said he had been a member for a couple of years or so.

That rules out a number of posters...let the witch hunt begin.

I don't think Blue idiot is a contender, somehow?

He certainly had what I would call a 'London lilt', although couldn't quite put my finger on accent, very English clear-cut.

Sorry Tolm's but I am gonna call you out on this one.

It cannot be true as Wikipedia doesn't list him as a Blue (yet).

And of course I joined about 2 years ago and very rarely post so I do have first hand knowledge ;-)
