Thiago has three options ahead of next season: staying at Barcelona, joining Man United, or joining Bayern Munich. [mundo deportivo]

Which is in contradiction to the Sport article yesterday that City were one of his three options!

They are all now guessing.

A player of this quality has agents who will contact clubs of a certain standing, including ourselves.

Go on I'll bite ... and have we been contacted?

Any mileage in the Spuds/Gaz Baz story Tolm?

Simply stating his agents will have contacted all the top clubs.

See no reason why we would not be considered, having registered an official interest in the lad last summer.

-- Thu Jun 13, 2013 11:37 am --

Doubt it, Spuds don't pay wages.

Barry earns £120,000 a week.

With a year left, he would be stupid to move anywhere, even if a new contract is not offered.

Can see a one-year extension at reduced monies if he wants it.

Hmmmmmm stay at the club where he started and play alongside Messi and Iniesta.
Move to the Champions of Europe and play with the manager that brought him through.
Play for Gollom
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Stay on the bench for another season while watching Xavi, Iniesta, Messi, Fabregas and Song get a game ahead of him.

Sit on the bench with Shaqiri watching Martinez, Schweinsteiger and Kroos get a game ahead of him.

Fight for a place in midfield alongside, Yaya, Silva, Fernandinho, Milner, Barry, Rodwell and Garcia....

Or play every game for the rags.

Milner will be fighting with Navas & perhaps Nasri...He hardly plays as a CM and only does so when we have no other options.

Apparently there's been much flapping going on about this video - http://www.foxsportsasia.com/videos/#?videoId=982050

At the end of the video the reporter says "You've been linked with a move to Manchester United.." after which he smiles, pats him on the back and leaves. So people take this as a sign that he is definitely going there. Am I the only one who sees this as just him not wanting to answer questions about where he will play ?
