Thiago has three options ahead of next season: staying at Barcelona, joining Man United, or joining Bayern Munich. [mundo deportivo]

Which is in contradiction to the Sport article yesterday that City were one of his three options!

They are all now guessing.

A player of this quality has agents who will contact clubs of a certain standing, including ourselves.

Won't we be contacting him or his agents ?

Would Txiki know his family or agents personally from his time at Barca, I keep reading that because of the Barca links that Txiki is a friend of the family and that his agent is Pep's brother who is supposedly a friend of Txiki's. Is any of this true or just BM speculation ?

Just think we could get both Isco and Thiago for around 30 mill. And selling Barry, Garcia and Kolarov would hand us back at least half. Perfect exemple of less quantity and more quality.
Who would do the defensive midfieldy stuff then? Who is the back up for Clichy?

You could say Zabaleta - with Richards playing as his cover at right back - but I'd sign a young up and coming LB as well.

Rekik if needed. Again, not ideal...but that is my point about Thiago. If guaranteeing him time means short term costs...so be it.

-- Thu Jun 13, 2013 11:35 am --

Hmmmmmm stay at the club where he started and play alongside Messi and Iniesta.
Move to the Champions of Europe and play with the manager that brought him through.
Play for Gollom
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Stay on the bench for another season while watching Xavi, Iniesta, Messi, Fabregas and Song get a game ahead of him.

Sit on the bench with Shaqiri watching Martinez, Schweinsteiger and Kroos get a game ahead of him.

Fight for a place in midfield alongside, Yaya, Silva, Fernandinho, Milner, Barry, Rodwell and Garcia....

Or play every game for the rags.

Milner, Barry, Rodwell and Garcia..

There wouldn't be much of a 'fight' there bud.

Exactly. We can offer him the playing time if that is what it takes. He may very well end up at United but if he is coming to Manchester I can't see why he would go there instead of to us. Pellegrini, Tixki, Soriano, his agent is Pep's brother (and is close with the Barca boys). He would settle much easier on the blue side of Manchester and he and his agent have to know that.

Apparently he shares the same agents as Cesc Fabregas, Danny Wellbeck and Gael Clichy!

Why should he join Bayern Munich...

Have you looked into the team and how many class options there already are in central midfield...

If Bayern buys anything it will be Lewandowski (probably no other replacement if he does not come in 2013), maybe a defender as Badstuber is out for most of the next season - and maybe a right full back if Rafinha leaves.

Nobody knows where this guy is ending up. Bayern is linked because of Pep. Thats it IMO.

that would be a tremendous window tbh.

Still don't think Ronaldo is realistic,

and Thiago AND Strootman leaves no room for Zinedine Clevz, could see one but not both
