All the talk of falcao, lewendowski or cavani over the last 4 months to me just seems silly as i dont believe our strikers need changing really appart from get rid of tevez and promote guidetti, but for me our problem last year was midfield, garcia, sincla and nasri aren't good enough barry is ageing and yaya was lazy plus rodwel injured. we already have replacements for sinclair and garcia and we need to replace nasri with isco and the most important for me is Thiago bothg of whom will score at least 20 goals each aswel as giving dave a lot more room again to all create chances for our strikers.Thiago and isco would be the most important signings we make for the next 10 years.

Id certainly agree there. They would be massive signings. not only for now but in the long run.
Can you imagine how good Isco and thiago will be when they hit 27/28?!

If Thiago and Isco signed I reckon we could get away with just Aguero and Dzeko being a front pairing. If Thiago signed it could mean Yaya plays up top either alongside both Dzeko and Aguero or singly if need be. Just an option.

My rag mates just rang me and tried to rub it into my face that they're getting Thiago (When nothings even been confirmed). Does anyone know whether its true? Obviously I don't mean to be a bastard but I'm quite looking forward to ringing him back and laughing at his soul

Where does all this talk of Sinclair being crap, on his way out etc, come from?

The lad hasn't had a sniff at showing anybody how good or bad he actually is. With Don Manuel coming in he might get that chance. Until then I will reserve judgement.

Also I thought he was out for 3 months after his op. Can't see anybody being in for a player who is injured.

Sorry..... back on topic

Won't we be contacting him or his agents ?

Would Txiki know his family or agents personally from his time at Barca, I keep reading that because of the Barca links that Txiki is a friend of the family and that his agent is Pep's brother who is supposedly a friend of Txiki's. Is any of this true or just BM speculation ?

Why should he join Bayern Munich...

Have you looked into the team and how many class options there already are in central midfield...

If Bayern buys anything it will be Lewandowski (probably no other replacement if he does not come in 2013), maybe a defender as Badstuber is out for most of the next season - and maybe a right full back if Rafinha leaves.

Nobody knows where this guy is ending up. Bayern is linked because of Pep. Thats it IMO.

Guardiola emphasized that he will not try to lure away any player from Barca.

Pep's job is not to emulate a new Barca. When you listened to everything the Bayern officials told about their talks with Guardiola there was a lot talk about identity of a club and that Guardiola especially likes the players Bayern already has. And actually - the places that Thiago Alcantara can play are already occupied by players that come out of Bayern youth - apart from that there is more talent in that sector coming through.

I do not think that Thiago Alcantara is for sale either. Barcelona would be stupid as they build him up as the Xavi successor since years now. Xavi is 33 now - he will not play for ages anymore.
