You have to watch the whole series before it approaches making sense.

And it's quite possible he was in Mulholland Drive, too. Lynch often goes with familiar actors. Pete from Twin Peaks is also the lead in Eraserhead for instance.

To be honest I am drunk. I knew it was Lynch and Mulholland Dr. came to me...but lets be honest I have never been sober while either watching or talking about a Lynch movie so I am probably wrong. God, I do love Mulholland Drive though.
