not to sound like an asshole here but that blog post is so poorly written and its source of it is The Sun.. pls don't ever read that site or link to it again

And id say the same thing if it said we're set to sign the kid, the site is just so worthless when it comes to stuff like this that people shouldn't bother reading/linking

FFS cheeky get in there and get the bloody deal done! these ARE the sort off deals we should be all over. superb player already and the potential to be world class and only 21?! isco and thiago are the best value investments and could be with us potentially 10 years.

I'll say it again

Barca would be crazy to let this lad go.

Ready made replacement for Xavi

Say it as many times as you like, they cant stop him (at the moment) if he WANTS to leave

So one guy says we are very interested at which point I get kind of excited, but minutes later someone else says he is going to the rags! F.cks sake I hate transfer windows :@

I'd prefer Isco and we can't sign/play everyone

Chelsea being linked too Thiago now but no idea if there's any truth in that.

It's unrealistic to expect the rags not to strengthen the team especially with a new manager at the helm. Alcantara ticks all the boxes for them, he's cheap ( relatively), they desperately need someone who plays in his preferred position, they need a "name" signing and they can offer him regular 1st team football. They know all this speculation about Ronaldo and Bale and Fabregas is bullshit so Thiago Alcantara is the next best thing to appease the fans.

I don't want them to get him but we don't really need him and unless Chelsea make a late bid I'm afraid he'll be heading to the swamp.

Surely if we went in for thiago we have more pulling power than united. He'd settle in much quicker with all the Spanish speaking players along with manager. Our style of play would suit him better aswell. Passing the ball in tight areas when there marked is something what he's use to and would be the same with silva, isco and nasri. United dont have one player like this maybe kagawa.

Well that's just pissed me off for the day

You'd think that Villanova/Rosell would sit Thiago down and offer him rotation into the Iniesta/Xavi roles.

I'm pretty sure everyone here agrees: Thiago>Cesc
