Thiago would be a lot more use to us than Isco and I'm pretty confident that he's better than him.

He is better than him in the sense that he has more talent, but he barely plays so he's always making mistakes when he plays.

You clearly know little, that's all.

Saif, did you not hear anything about the 'anti barca pact' with Real?

Yes I did hear about that but I didn't read into it. Do you know what this is all about?

Longstanding accusations from Barca accusing City of poaching non-playing staff and academy players.

Barca have or are preparing legal proceedings against Ferran Soriano regarding his time at Barca when it was alleged that he and Joan Oliver were paying private investigators to spy on Barca staff to root out moles - you couldn't make it up...

Also there is a lot of bad blood because Barca leaked Pellergrini's approach from City to take over as manager on the eve of the FA Cup final as they wanted him to succeed Tito whilst he was receiving treatment..

Which is why I would stick in the 18m release clause on one of their exiting young prospects and they could do fuck all about it. Provided the player wants to come to City it would really stick one on Barca.

Sorry if already posted, report is from Marca. If this is to be believed then it could quash talk of Isco to Real

It seems Real Madrid might be taking the idea of signing Thiago Acántara seriously. According to what Catalan Radio station RAC1 assures, 'Los Vikingos' and the Barça player have already started conversations about the starlet's future with the Madrilenian club.

According to the radio station, Mazinho, the midfielder's father, has already given his go-ahead for an intermediary to start negotiations with 'Los Blancos'.

Thiago Alcántara has a fairly low rescission clause of €18 million, and therefore quite a few of Europe's bigger clubs have taken an interest in the young Barça player.

Real Madrid won't activate the Thiago Alcantara release clause, has just stated Real Madrid president himself ...
Palmeri on twitter .....us or rags then
It'll be down to player choice and if we're well and truly in for him than I can't see him not coming here with who we have
