Absolutely daft not to make a very serious effort to land this guy; he will be the world's best player in his position in a few years' time and we would definitely regret not getting him now.
 
How can you make bold statements as "he will be the best in the world in his position" plenty of players with potential never come close to fulfilling it
 
If the reason he wants to leave barca is because he wants to play regularly, don't quite see why he'd want to come here as I don't think he'd be starting in strongest XI if we've got Silva and Isco with Yaya and Fernandinho, and maybe Nasri/Navas, with Aguero or 2 strikers.

Of course, maybe if isco is a no go, thiago will be a go go

isco also posted a couple of pics with de gae a while ago, maybe he is a nice bloke football aside. the pic of him in a red shirt was his head supe r imposed on a picture of a rag player mid match.
 
If we sign him we should loan him out immediately to a Premiership team. That's legal right?

Maybe Everton as they are near and Martinez will be a good teacher in playing decent football?

That would be madness, Thiago is easily good enough for a top 4 side.

I would have him over Barry now he is getting older.
