Thiago is a class better than anyone else on the pitch.
Isco has shown glimpses of his qualities, but nothing special so far. Spain, as usual, is wearing Russia down with very tight passing and keeping possession. Although Russia looks very organized in the back, they will tire and make mistakes.

Thiago is playing deep, as a playmaker and is doing a fantastic job at it. Isco plays wide, with Muniain on the other side. Isco is being very tightly marked.
