Funniest conversation just now with two rags. One says the scum never bid for Thiago and the other says that the bid for Fabregas is in case their first choice option doesn't happen and he is their back up!!! One then went on to ask when the season starts!!

Manchester United have agreed a fee of £17.2million for Benfica defender Ezequiel Garay according to reports coming from Portugal and Italy this evening.
Goal.com suggest United have offered the defender a figure which exceeds £100,000 per-week.
The Express report: "The 26-year-old has been high on United's wish list for a while and he was recently reported to be house hunting in Manchester.
Moreover, it was thought that United had a 'gentlemen's agreement' in place with the Portuguese outfit to sign him."
According to a report in Tuttomercato, United have struck a deal for £17.2m.

Having read the above, it's also worth noting that Marca reported something similar with Ezequiel Garay to Manchester United as being 'done'
Marca may not be the most reliable source but Garay is half owned by Real Madrid, so they probably know something about this dea
