Just scored with his chest for Bayern.

Team is looking every bit as dominant as Peps Barca
Just one vital ingredient missing.

The best player to ever play this game.

Actually - I would not want him as well as I would not want to have Ronaldo. A team that builds on a lot different strength and on a lot of strong players in my eyes is better than one that seems to build only on or around the "best player on the world"

And I do not think that is too good on the team chemistry if every attention goes to one player - the result is that it handicaps other players if it is not a team of pure saints. You run a lot more for your own sake as if at the end the merit goes only to one person.

As soon as City moved up a gear he was a complete waste of space. Fernandinho, Nasri, Navas, Yaya & even James Milner, all much more effective in their roles & indeed much more important to their team & powerful than him.

Silva didn't even start, nor Aguero.

Thiago would not get in our team.

Wadd y'a mean "even" James Milner? No respect! Our best player in the second half.<br /><br />-- Fri Aug 02, 2013 7:44 am --<br /><br />

I wish this transfer window would close, so much bullshit flying in every direction.

<a class="postlink" href="http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11890/8840791/thiago-alcantara-denies-claims-about-manchester-united-interest" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www1.skysports.com/football/news ... d-interest</a>

Does anyone else feel Sky are turning into United's mouthpiece? Like Marca for Real Madrid.

The constant daily "LATEST ON FABREGAS" which is actually nothing and now this tripe ^

Yes I've been saying exactly that for months.

aguero 30 28 scored
silva 10 8 scored
navas 5 6 scored
thiago 10 Nasri 10 scored
yaya 10 24 scored
dinho 5 5 scored

Thats what id roughly expect from that team and thats realstic plus the subbs
Hahahaha wow. Are you being serious? 10 goals each for Yaya and Dave? And 30 for Aguero? Come off it lad
Yaya has scored 9,9,10 in the 3 seasons hes been here. Its very feasible
Not with all those other guys around him scoring that many. 70 goals? We only scored 66 in the league last year. And you've got subs, defenders etc bagging a good load of them. This is a huge overestimation, in my opinion anyway. Add in Nasri, Dzeko, Negredo if he comes/or another 3rd striker, then the whole group of Barry, Milner, Garcia and then defenders too.[/quote]

Sorry just had to bump this thread up as a reminder of what I predicted this year only silva and Aguero to slightly under achive but Yaya made up for them.

Okay I have bumped this thread in light of the recent developments with Guardiola being rumoured to have agreed to come to our club.

The reason for the bump is that earlier in the week when Bayern played Baca in the CL, the TV commentary team were discussing Thiago and stated that he has said "Wherever Pep goes, I Go"

I though it a strange thing to say at the time but didn't read too much into it. If Pep arrives then Thiago may well follow ??

Guarantee Bayern slaps a healthy price tag on him in this scenario, given that his contract is till 2017... That being said his agent is Pere Guardiola so maybe they pull a Yaya and try to force his way out.
