Why in cowboy films does everyone drink in the saloons, but no one goes for a piss? There's never even a door marked gents? And why, with all those horses, is there never any horse shit in the streets?
And why does every Tom, Dick and Harry have a repeating rifle? Up to the end of the American Civil War they were extremely rare (only a few Union outfits and no Confederates had them). After that, they were still expensive.

Does nobody ever fancy a Dubonnet and lemonade, or a pint of cider?
And the Bartender always leaves the bottle for the cowboy to carry over to a table.
Who the fuck necks a full bottle of scotch in a pub without paying?
Then the local Brass comes sashaying down the stairs with her tits hanging out and immediately sits on his knee.
It's no wonder those cowpokes can't wait to finish their trail drive, it's free piss ups and shags all round.
