Things that are not fair in life

Autism and idiopathic scoliosis. My son has both. He's 16 and this should be a great if not memorable part of his life. Been 18 months since scoliosis was diagnosed and his first consultant moved jobs before seeing him. This second one has so far not been in the hospital.in the day I went with him.for his mèeting and assessment/ plan of action. Then last week cancelled the rescheduled appointment. I have a mobile number for his appointed nurse and I tried to call to ask what's going on, no answer. Sent her a text voicing my concerns he's being overlooked and forgotten about... no reply. Poor lad. I also don't really have a fucking clue how to get the hospital to move this along, I was told corrective surgery is the only option in this case as the curve developed quite rapidly... that was over a year ago..
I know someone who is struggling with her 16yr old son who she thinks has Autism and other gender problems and threatening suicide. Desperately trying to get an appointment to have him assessed and had to pull strings to even get him on a list Lockdowns haven’t done any of our young people any favours

His mother works in NHS management They were here earlier he passed all his GCSE and going on for A levels again a lot of stress. She told me you have to speak with the doctors secretary (they all have one) or practise manager to say your not happy waiting all this time and see if you can get him seen earlier.

My 60 year old sister who's had cancer 3 times, got low white blood cell count, low immune system and got early signs of dementia being told week after her 60th birthday (in March 2023) that she's deemed fit for work and had to start proving she was applying for jobs. To me that's not fair
That’s well beyond not fair. That’s absolutely shameful and sums up where we have ended up
as a country, run by vermin without compassion. Tragically your sister isn’t alone. My heart goes out to everyone facing serious health problems, who health situation is made worse by the stress these utter bastards place on them with assessments like that. Shameful.

Aside from the morality of a system that treats everybody as bogus or a 'cheat' from the outset theres an issue that the tories should be all over, and that's the complete waste of money and resources the system generates.
Like lots of others, my wifes medical condition does not and will not ever get 'better'. She will not miraculously be able to work, walk again, carry boxes or do any of the other things they check.
Anybody can google MS and spend 2 minutes reading about it to realise that. But no, they have to check (for the 4th time now) the forms, then they'll ask her to go for an interview which she cannot do. Then they will send someone to the house to check. All that will cost money.

Airports aren't fair, I think you lose a lot of your rights when you enter. Get treated (and looked at) like shit by staff and looked at suspiciously. Flying just isn't fun anymore. Take your belt off, shoes off, hat off, phones here, it's shit.

One flight I was on I spent the last 2 hours in the cockpit, I asked the attendant and she asked the Captain and he said yes, I landed in a 747 at Hong Kong old airport in the cockpit. It used to be something to look forward too.

The part where a bunch of cunts killed thousands of innocent Americans put paid to any fun being in flying, whether it be in the airport or the plane.

Well yeah obviously. I didn't think anyone had to mention that being the reason. But I guess someone did. :)

Point is that something that i used to look forward too is now shit. So in my book it's unfair.

And they've done away with half the bogs on planes. (unfair)
And when some fucker reclines their seat in front it makes things shit for you. (unfair)

No plane was ever better than a 747.

My doggy Chopper got osteosarcoma (bone cancer last year) and had to lose his rear right leg. The bad thing with it is apparently almost always it spreads to the lungs. The surgeon said he will do the surgery but wanted to check his lungs first as if it had gone there the leg op would be useless.

Here we are a year later with my beautiful boy a cancer survivor, his lungs were clear. He has a developed a cough that won't go away the last week or so and i am dreading what it might be if im honest. So yeah, cancer is not fair and i would do anything to protect him from it. It took my dad not very long ago and it tried to take my beautiful boy, most likely it will try again.

For anyone affected by cancer in any way my heart goes out to you. The helplessness is the worst feeling i have ever experienced. I have had an extra year with my lad and for that i am eternally grateful but i want him to be here forever. So i cherish every moment as much as i can with him.

So cancer, cancer is not fair.
