Things they could repeat on TV

Too many snowflakes now, most of the shows from the 70's will never he aired again or would only come out as heavily edited sections.

It’s a bit lazy to say that we live in more enlightened times because of snowflakes.

That said I wouldn’t mind a rerun of Mind Your Language

Abbot and Costello films.

Laurel and Hardy.

Used to love a bit of Harold Lloyd, in the school hols and on a Friday teatime on BBC2 before Monkey came on at 6.
(In the days before The Tube started on Channel 4, obviously)
Remember Buster Crabbe as Flash Gordon too. Absolutely mustard!

I used to love that Flash Gordon as well and remember Harold Lloyd with fondness. I doubt I will ever get to see them again as they were pretty dated back then in the 70s.

I’d also throw in James Burke’s Connections, series 1. Loved that show and learn so much about science and history from it. Never been repeated as far as I know, nor available on dvd either, and I can’t fathom why.

I did acquire the episodes are few years back from an online source but the quality was very poor.
