Things to do in Bath (the city....)

I'm in an industry that's related to tourism and I visit Bath every four or five weeks and was there last week
Honestly, I really don't see the appeal

I do good business in Bath as I do in Oxford and York. I despise the latter two and much prefer Cambridge
Been to all 4, some more than others, and for actual historical whatnots York wins hands down. Bath needs a visit but you can see all you need to see in a long weekend. Oxford is really nice, loads of decent pubs, lovely buildings etc etc but Cambridge is better. Mainly because of the Cambridge Wine Merchants on Bridge St. Buy, open and drink...with some nice food. But also because one of the porters let me and the missus picnic by the Cam on Scholar's Lawn last year.

We were there a few nights so the ghost tour was another evening.

According to the missus we did the 7pm tour and the bath area was near the end. I'd book for 5.30. We were out in an hour as you go at your own pace.
Perfect!
Thanks mate.

I had several friends go to Oxford, two people moved on before the end of the first year, couldn't stand the place
I lived there for a couple of years , left because it was the first time i had been away from the sea in my life , the air is different and i hated it for that reason

Blimey. Cambridge Blue, Live and Let Live, Kingston Arms, Free Press, Champion of Thames, Maypole for a would be essential visits for most pub fans, though I may be a bit biased being born there !

What pubs do you like ?
It's been 35 years since I was there
