Things you ate when you was younger.

Bacon butties where the bread had been dipped into the fat in the grill pan and it 'd dribble down your chin as you ate it.

Dripping on toast, obviously with a sprinkle of salt

Weetabix with butter & Jam spread on it.
I must admit I had weetabix on toast once and loved it. Not dry weetabix, I let it go soggy in the milk and then spooned it on. Delicious.

Sorry if mentioned, but jam and cheese sandwiches. They are fit.

on the plus side though i used to down plenty of sugar butties , banana butties and sweets ...... and as much as it was a plus back then , it isn't quite one now ..... half me teeth are filled!

Hang on, it took us to page 5 to get to sugar butties?! You bunch of hippies!

At Secondary school, for 5 years, I used to have:

Breakfast (cereal and toast)
Morning break: A sausage roll wrapped in toast and a honey bun
Dinner: Buttered barm (NOTE: BARM), chips and gravy and a chocolate MUFFIN
Walking home: A quarter of millions

It's no great suprise I still can't shift this gut.

I use both mate, if I'm somewhere backward then its a barm, the rest of the time its a muffin :)

A meany barm doesnt have the same ring as a meany muffin anyway.
