We still get them round here, but they use a ford transit pick up instead of a horse and cart and collect scrap instead of rags.
I can leave any bit of metal or old white goods at the end of the drive and it will be gone by the end of the day.
The lads that come round even shout "any rag n bone" when they drive down the street.
