I lived in various countries overseas for 25 years and never thought i'd come back to the UK but for a number of reasons we made the move back 2 years ago and I must admit I have been presently surprised by life here. Much better than I thought it would be.

I worked for 10 years away and returned over 5 years ago, and honestly if it wasn't for city or family I would fuck off tomorrow.
The Uk is alright and I am happy here, but the way we let out infrastructure and society crumble the last 30 years and how we look like living in a state that won't change makes me want to go off and live in Thailand

I had a couple of years in early 00's and still pop over.
Like I say happy here but the countries stuck in a loop where the place doesn't feel like anything will ever change, shit trains, shit transport in general, wages and living standards stagnent etc. at least in other places people seem more chilled about their lot.
