In general we live in a lovely country.
Just don't notice it as much and find disturbances as we are here more often.
House Prices.
Major reason I'll probably fuck off abroad in years to come. Just can't afford my own place (unless I go on benefits and become a thieving crack head)
Rat Race Culture.
Seems we rush too much over here. People wanting everything instant, with many people rushing around.
Example being the binge drink culture.
Abroad we can relax all day and sup a drink, enjoy the peace and be chilled.
Over here we all rush to the bars, chuck the booze down our necks as fast as possible like some drinking competition, then scavenge at the kebab house just before a scrap outside the takeaway.
Give me a nice, relaxing stoner cafe culture any day of the week :)
Branded Clothing.
The amount of people plastered with advertising all over themselves promoting some companies and actually paying to do so.
£200 or whatever for some Nike Air Max which instantly makes you look like a chavvy ****.
£700 on a Michael Kors handbag which cost £3.50 to produce in Taiwan.
And the girls buying these bags look like Ooompa Loompas with their fake tans and fat asses.
Obesity.
I can understand medically and sympathise with those who are medically obese but for many if you put them on a remote island they'd soon lose all that weight . excessiveness to the extreme.
Shut Down Time.
I prefer 24hr cultures, as it seems people then don't rush as much to get things done.
So if more bars/restaurants/public transport and so on was 24/7 society for me would be happier.
London is 24hrs and many parts of Manchester is but not all such as transport.
