Thatcher broke things up that left a divided country economically.

Bizarrely I was misled by them saying in the opening lines, "This is the ‘breathtakingly stupid’ act which saw a roof worker sentenced to six months in prison ."

I cannot imagine how I was so confused. Of course if I had been arsed to read the whole thing, it might have been clear, but that would have involved reading more of the contemptible rag, which I try not to do.

Surprising that Attlee was rejected by the electorate after one term, ( then re elected for a brief period). Churchill, a Tory, was reinstated.
Thatcher, despite all this 'Division' was elected three times.
