This at city please.

i think the english atmosphere styles are better than some of the constant singing on the continent. in england it makes the singing more special because it more times than not reflects the game and whats happening on the pitch.

the dortmund fans at city this season were so monotone it was boring. that being said the english atmosphere style may be better but the atmospheres in england are poor at the moment.

the best way to improve it is safe standing, so people can stand with mates etc.

First loudspeaker shoved up arsehole related injury at the new ground.

no thankyou. im happy up in colin bell 3 with my boiled sweets. now kindly fook off with all that noise.
Right. It's most un-English. No Nuremburg rallies at MCFC, please. I'd rather watch the game.

Fans need to stand!

South Stand expanded to a 3 tier terrace now!

Members only, pay on the day.

£30 adults, £15 kids and £20 for any OAP daft enough to go in there.

We will only get atmosphere back with safe standing that normal folk can afford and readily access. Football for all!

I am sure that it is mostly people who are new to going to the match (or have only been going a few years anyway) that get all giddy about this sort of stuff. Mostly teenagers.

I can't think of a single reason why someone who has been following their team for years and has been to hundreds of matches would all of a sudden want to transform it completely by importing something as alien as that.

Giddy stuff for kids on the internet and not English football at all, imo.

Its down to 2 different mind sets.

1. Ive paid my money so i'll do what i want. And nobody tells me when to sing. ( these people join in sometimes )

2. I'm going to the match and i want to be part of the crowd, where me and my mates have a great time, let off steam and get behind my team for 90 minutes. ( also before the game in the pub and maybe after.)

Maybe it follows how people are in life in general. I imagine the fans in scenario 2 will be like that from the time they meet their mates, to getting home at night. Scenario 1 fans are there to watch the game, getting there and back is just a pain that has to be endured, which can be relieved slightly by leaving early.

None of these two types are better fans than the other, just different. I personally prefer to join in more often than not, its part of why i fell in love with City aged 8, not because of how we played.
