Walking to the Ground yesterday from Ashton New Rd cutting through Olympic Way I was horrified at the amount of fly tipping and general crap on the floor. The Council have a duty to clear areas in a certain time .Are the people who live there blind or just have no expectations that anything will ever be done?

First time in Manchester since the start of the summer and the first thing we noticed was the homelessness has gone up.

The general area around Piccadilly gardens right up to Piccadilly Station has become very shady with drugs and drug use open and transparent.

This makes the city look so bad for visitors. There was one guy in a doorway, clearly in the middle of a high at about 12pm in the afternoon.
