Agree with OP. Why is it in America, Australia, and many other countries you see their flag everywhere while here you rarely see it, I think I see more Pakistani flags out in Manchester than St. George's (or Union Jacks). Do we need another f*cking World War to make people proud?

COME ON ENGLAND!
If you fly the St George you get classed as a Racist .

out of interest, who out of the ones claiming to be england fans actually regularly follow the team & went to wembley tonight?

Didn't go myself... but I am an England fan and been to many games...

Also the tournaments

Turin 80
Bilbao 82
Italia 90
France 98
Brussells/Amsterdam/Charleroi 2000

Don't get your point?

Been to a couple of England games but simpy felt uncomfortable cheering players I'd be screaming abuse at the next week. In my opinion the England team exists to give people from places like Grimsby & Barrow something to get excited about on the football field.

I've not given a shit about england since Sven and team Beckham turned it into a exclusive club where if you played for the sky 4 or had a "name" you we're in regardless of form.

The same is true of Cappello in some respects.
I wonder if it's the FA that pick the squads rather than the manager.

Patriotism has f - all to do with football unless that's a nice name for invading a foreign town and treating the locals like shit whilst downing local ale and screaming "engerland" at the top of your voice.

I've seen it so many times it shames me to be on the same island.

lighten up... you're still stuck in the 80's. You haven't been to an England away game for a long time I reckon....

A handful of incidents up and down the country.....

try following the team rather than reading the mail, then you'll see the real story. It was you who referred to England fans 'invading a foreign town and treating the locals like shit'... back in the 80's maybe....

City is the only football team on the planet that I give a shit about. When England concede I laugh, when City concede im usually brought to tears.

I love the England games, it's the only time my mates can get together, have a laugh and want the same team to win.
