I'm not disputing that we couldn't of had a better transfer window as we clearly could have but it wasn't exactly the disaster a lot of people on here are making it out to be. Last season we had a title winning squad and we have improved that and if we have a poor season this year it won't be because we failed to sign Hazard or RVP it will be because Mancini will have fucked up plain and simple. We still have the best team in the league.
Just out of curiosity if we had signed RVP and Hazard would you still think that we could of had a better transfer window because we didn't sign Messi and Ronaldo?

they did niether.
Didnt need to spend 100mill, players like Demebele and Corzola went for decent fees. both would have improved our squad much more than our signings.sir baconface said:de niro said:lets be honest, the club have fucked up big style, they should have backed mancini to the hilt and cashed in on our title success.

Wot, and spunked another £100m? Mancini's interest is here and now whereas the suits are duty-bound to think longer term. This is no different to lots of other commercial organisations. No football club can expect to defy gravity indefinitely.
