Pissing about aside, how have United played tonight? Serious reply please. Not seen the match.

Looked ok but then difficult to judge because West Ham were truly terrible.

Thanks.

Thought they looked better with Rooney further up the pitch, but West Ham still had a lot of poissession in and around their box, they were just awful and never looked like scoring. Two pretty average sides overall.

They actually have quite a decent record away. It's their home form and form against the top 5/6 that's the problem.

More than decent, this is the away day table!

It's at the swamp where they've fallen apart... hopefully we can add to that.

Rags had a much better balance with Mata playing in the number 10 role (but everybody knew that, bar Moyes) Kagawa, Rooney and Mata were counter attacking in a way reminiscent of the interchanges between Oscar and Hazard this season. They should have scored more than 2. Rooney's goal will be shown so many times, you will want to scoop your eyes out.

Fellani, as clumsy as he is, was effective in breaking up West Ham play and distributing it out to better players. Fletcher and Young were total dogshit.

Jones and Carrick were pretty solid at the back and De Gea didn't have a save to make. I even thought that Buttner was better at defending than Evra was on wednesday.
