I thought that was an obvious pen, absolutely no need on Gods green earth to go to ground, didnt leave the ref with much choice.

Under the letter of the law AJ gave Dean little else to do.

Ridiculous to dive when he could have easily blocked the cross standing up.

Granero, Hoillett and Diakite on the bench for QPR, whilst Dyer, Derry and Hill starts, they really don't want anything from this match but a lose.

fucking hell they are gonna get battered

The NorthEast; a ''hotbed'' of football? Hmm. There has been a fair sprinkling of empty seats there today, and not just the last 5-10 minutes either. And yes, I know we had our share against Real Madrid. But that was at the end of a four game run of home fixtures which wouldn't have worked out cheap, plus we have been selling out our PL games. Not sure what the Mackems' reasons are, apart from money perhaps.

Dean horrible today.

O'shea should get his second yellow in first half vs. Long.
Long got the yellow for diving.

Now WBA player should get the yellow for diving and not a pen.

At least he was wrong in big decisions for both teams but still two big mistakes.

I thought Dean as one of the better refs in England. But the only reason for that because the avarege level of other refs are so horribly low it is actually not that hard to look good compared to them.
I don't think the O'Shea/Long incident was either a foul or a dive. Long stood on O'Shea's foot when planting his foot and went to ground. It was incidental contact from both.

He caught him, but it wouldn't have been a booking that.
Penaltys a blatant dive, but the refs not helped by where he's seeing it from.
AJ unlucky with the pen but been woeful otherwise

How could then Long get a yellow if he was caught? It was enough to look at O'shea's face he nearly started to walk off.

No I agree the booking for long was wrong , but it'd have also been a poor decision if o'shea had been sent off for that

Agreed.

Diabolical offside. They had the momentum there

-- Sat Nov 24, 2012 2:39 pm --

4-2! Fucking belter of a game that. Nice one

Great finish to that game. And QPR with that lineup aren't even being subtle, does Harry want them to reach a new low before he takes over?

Like the way they break so quickly WBA.

Sunderland going for the draw but WBA still prepared to finish them off.

The more I see of them the more I am impressed.
