This all looks very familiar to me.
It's exactly the same team as last time these were under Maureen just with different personnel. The machinery is the same.
Keep it as tight as fuck and break like absolute lunatics. They are very very clean sheet orientated and realise their quality on the break will get them goals.
I thought Stoke had a really good go tonight but lacked any type of decent quality in the final phase. John Walters sums them up - 1000% effort but very little ability.
The media coverage post match is as though they've just won the league because they've just beaten Stoke. The desire for them to win it within the media is just like it was over Liverpool last year.
Matic and Terry think they've already won it.
We can't do anything but take these cunts seriously. They aren't 'flakey' like Liverpool or Arsenal were.
We need to get on with it and retain our crown because imo we're better than these.

3 points at this stage is pretty irrelevant, not least because both teams have to play each other. We're not even halfway through yet.
But I do agree it's going to be tight (at best) this year. I can't see them dropping many points, so we will have to drop even less. By no means impossible, but it will be tight.

You'very got to think Lampard's going to be key in all of this. If we can keep him until May, it would be a huge plus.

I thought of this too though not the set pieces. If teams set up against them like how palace was against us, they might have a few games with 2 points dropped. I dont see them losing much but a few 0-0 for them would add up in the end.

Best elevens on the pitch......there's not a chance Chelsea are a better team than us.They are very efficient and hardworking but they are no where near as eye catching or fluid,our passing and movement is much more crisp and our cohesion superior,we look stronger imo.
