The drum is actually decent when used correctly.

If it didn't accompany every single song and was used maybe twice, or so, a half that would suffice.

A really good atmosphere needs to have different tempos and different types of chanting rather than 90minutes of some shit that goes along with *bang bang bang bang bang bang bang bang bang bang bang bang bang*...it's just monotonous and annoying.

What the Palace fans do understand is that an atmosphere is heard better and joined in with more when it's started down the front.

I hope we NEVER have a drum at City but we do need to get a better atmosphere. In my opinion a Traditional English Atmosphere with spontaneous singing and more variety of songs is better than the Continental style drum accompanied atmosphere.
