I think that is true. Liverpool has had a lot more rest this year than anybody else in the top third of the table. How will they hold up when they have to play several out of country mid-week matches? They have a great starting group that has for the most part avoided injury. But when the work load increases by several matches (also assuming they last longer in the other cups next season) they will have to find more depth and hope to stay healthy on top of that. They can do it, I just don't know if they will.

We just need to keep our nerve,get Aguero and Jovetic back fully fit and take each game at a time.We are better than our rivals probably barring Liverpool,they are our equal and dangerous.If we win our other games and avoid defeat at Liverpool and Arsenal the title is as good as ours.

We're better than Liverpool (though never at Anfield it seems, which could be a huge fame unfortunately), they've just had a season of getting loads of rest in between games. The strain of just getting out of the group stage in the CL is huge. They'll have a shock next season unless they heavily invest over summer.

Fortunately they won't be able to heavily invest because of the FFP rules they so wisely supported.
