Rafael? Young Tom? Bogbrush head? Phil the face? All technically gifted individuals that Spanish Dave can only aspire to.
Yes, because comparing some of the worst technical players in the United team to the most technically gifted player in the entire Premiership really makes your point. Though out of the three Rafael is good technically for a right back in the Premiership. How about looking at the fact that they have Mata, RVP and Januzaj playing alongside Rooney and Carrick. Technical ability is not the be all and end all of a football team. Arsenal were probably the most technical team in the league for the last 9 years and have won nothing.
Fuck me; who took the jam out of your doughnut? It might have escaped your notice, but this is a city forum, and rag players have occasionally been known to have the piss taken out of them. Much the same thing happens on Red Issue, RAWK, Glory Glory, Palace Forums (?). Build a bridge, and get over it.
Taking the piss is one thing, but things are usually funny when they make a bit of sense. Laughing at Feliani's lack of mobility or Mata's defensive ability etc.

Cleverly is crap and is certainly no Iniesta when it comes to technique, but technique is not his main problem so the joke falls a bit flat.

EDIT

I guess penalties at Old Trafford are a bit like London buses. You wait years for one and then two come at the same time. I wonder if anything has changed to make refs less afraid.

Useless twats. They won't be this shit against us, you can guarantee they will up their game for us.

I'd like to believe you but..... I genuinely don't think they can. The only way they'll beat us is if they have a new manager, and after a loss today and when they depart the CL on Wednesday that could be a reality.

We seem to have trouble motivating ourselves for the smaller mid table teams, and they will raise their game. It will be their cup final.

I thought Liverpool was their biggest game.

So much so that the first song they sang in their "biggest game of the season" was about us.

You can tell the tide has turned or turning when you want your bitter rivals to win.

Hopefully one day I can feel sorry for Arsenal and want them to win for some reason or another!!

Looking forward to this one (United/Pool) , not so much Spurs!

At the risk of incurring some major jinx-

You won't have to worry about that my friend, forever in our shadow. (I'm sorry I couldn't resist.)

I'm going to bookmark that mate and get back to you in twenty years to laugh, make sure you stay on this board!!
