Spurs had to win this one.

Come on Hammers, hammer the Rags next week.
Erm?

They'll be too busy playing Crystal Palace

Not happening then, isn't it? :(
What, West Ham playing United?

No, no it's not. They've already played each other twice. Not sure what fixture list you're looking at.

Barkley looks a shadow of his former self.

It's the British player curse, the media over hypes them and they start believing the hype

When will we ever lean in this country, let players develop without all the pressure Kane will be the next one

Rubbish. Dzeko's was a certain penalty. The player came right through the side of his knee.
Causing his legs to collide and trip up.

wasn't disputing the contact, he made sure the ref saw him fall.

Sorry. The ref couldn't miss it, as he had the best view. The view you see from behind play
on TV.

wasn't arguing that either. Regardless, I hate the fact that trips/clips//nudges/arms in the back are given as penalties, yet clear hack downs, handballs and impeding fouls aren't given, referees shouldn't be allowed to be choosy.

I agree with that though talented youngsters often go through a difficult period after bursting through. In recent times Iniesta, Muller, Kroos, Ronaldo etc have all had such periods and come out it stronger. Barkley has the potential to become a world class player if he can get through this period.

I am still not sure on Kane. He has been fantastic this season, but every time I watch him it brings back Wiltord. Everything is going perfectly for Kane. He is not like Rooney, Ferdinand, Owen etc that were obvious stars. Kane has a great shot, works very hard and a good physique. He has everything to be a top 6 Premier League striker, but not sure he has shown he has the quality of Shearer, Owen and Rooney.

They obviously play different positions but Stones looks the much better prospect now—Barkley looks mediocre at best.

Boooooooooooooo! Neverton. No goal in the last four and half home games. And some of us told the rest of you that paying £60 million for Barkley would be the worst piece of business since Dia Maria and the utterly crocked, lying about his real age (which is 46( Falcao.

Reasonable post, but even last year I did not see anything that would make me think Barkley had the potential to match Iniesta, Muller, or Kroos and certainly not Ronaldo. All of those players showed consistent exceptional ability before breaking through as stars.
