In recent times Iniesta, Muller, Kroos, Ronaldo etc have all had such periods and come out it stronger. Barkley has the potential to become a world class player if he can get through this period.Ducado said:It's the British player curse, the media over hypes them and they start believing the hype
When will we ever lean in this country, let players develop without all the pressure Kane will be the next one
I am still not sure on Kane. He has been fantastic this season, but every time I watch him it brings back Wiltord. Everything is going perfectly for Kane. He is not like Rooney, Ferdinand, Owen etc that were obvious stars. Kane has a great shot, works very hard and a good physique. He has everything to be a top 6 Premier League striker, but not sure he has shown he has the quality of Shearer, Owen and Rooney.
Reasonable post, but even last year I did not see anything that would make me think Barkley had the potential to match Iniesta, Muller, or Kroos and certainly not Ronaldo. All of those players showed consistent exceptional ability before breaking through as stars.
Not enjoying it then ?malg said:Everton v Leicester. Best league in the world.
