Surprisingly so. I thought the step up May have shown him to be not as good as he appeared to be, he is a quality player though.

Martinez really has done a fantastic job at everton. Look at the style of football they are playing in such a short space of time.
Everton fans must be loving it, gollum leaving is the best thing that could have happened to them.

Surprisingly so. I thought the step up May have shown him to be not as good as he appeared to be, he is a quality player though.

I was suprised noone better went in for him, he always looked a quality player at Wigan and played in the right way. He just doesn't ever seem to have received any hype, unlike lesser players like Joe Allen and Jordan Henderson before they got their moves
