Not being funny, but thats completely different than getting your body in the way of the ball and then a defender running into his back which is what we were discussing.

Nothing snidey about it. It's clever play if he's going nowhere with the ball get your team a free kick to maximise your chances of getting a goal.

It`s called cheating.

No it's not. Diving is cheating, positioning your body so you get fouled is just smart play.

Hazard really pisses me off. Such a good player but he spends all of his time buying free kicks. It's not that the defenders bring him down because they can't stop him he just stands with his back to the opponent waiting for any contact. Such a good player but his role at Chelsea is chief free kick winner.
