sundays games thread

couldnt see a thread so here goes-

southamptom v scum, a shock on the cards here fingers crossed

liverpool v arsenal, probably another home draw but i think arsenal could nick this if they do it puts the presure on rodgers with only 1 point from 9, how long before the mickeys will be shouting for king kenny

newcastle v villa, 3-0

Got a feeling United are going to give Southampton a good hiding tommorow.

Arsenal have to get a result as well, from their behalf, big question marks are over Wenger if they lose in my opinion, they haven't even scored a goal yet! Plus, I bet they come into form just in time for playing us though, it was the same last season!

If Southamton play with some fight in them I can see a draw at least, United despite looking great up front, seem to be leaking silly and preventable goals, just like us.

your first sentence condradicts your last one bud.

No chance, unfortunately. Southampton are very ropey at the back (how we only beat them by one goal is a mystery), and with RVP on the pitch it can only end in tears for Saints. Hopefully, you'll be back on here at 6 telling me I know fuck all about football! Agree with your other two predictions though.

I'll tell you that you know fuck all about football now.

Southampton will do an Everton on the rags. I'll say it'll be 1-0 or 2-0. No midfield or defence for the rags so they won't be able to keep a clean sheet. Plenty of crosses into De Gea's box will be all they need.

Re: United thread 2012/13 (inc merged IPO thread)

Anyone got any team news on them? Is Carrick still at CB?

I also saw someone on here say that Evra was out, but not sure if that's true.

The drunken sweaty's 1000th game..........cue massive wankathon if they win.

His last anniversary game (was it Norwich at home?) they just scraped an undeserving 1-0 win IIRC. Wasn't so much a wankathon more a 'thank fuck for that'. Southampton score wasn't too indicative of the performance though. If we played the same match tomorrow I'd be no more surprised to see us 3-0 up at the break. Doubt they'll be so lucky twice. Expect a Rag win today, RVP brace.

I will ''luv it'' if you're right; seriously. Problem is that Saints don't have the quality of player that Everton do. I don't see a Fellaini, Jelavic or Pienaar (sp?) in their line-up. Still, fingers crossed!

Reina, Johnson, Skrtel, Agger, Enrique, Allen, Sahin, Gerrard, Sterling, Borini, Suarez.

Liverpool team today, that is a very good starting 11 but they have no depth at all.
