They were s**t and they were s**t, I am reading that every week since last season but some how they managed to get 87 points and lost the title on goal difference.

Because no matter how shit they play they can still scrape wins under their belt, just like us!

We were shit against Liverpool and still came back twice!

They were poor yesterday but we can never write them off. They got the same result against The Saints as we did (3-2), the only difference is they were away and we were at home. They'll keep on grabbing games like this, they always do, and they're only one point behind us.

If they lose Van Persie however....

Just watched the scum on MOTD and although RVP is without doubt the real deal, they were shit. Southampton gifted them chances/space that they wont see too may times this season and they looked shite in defence themselves. If we can build on a decent start then hopefully the ***** will be fighting for top 4 rather than the title by xmas. It looked to me like the enormity of the task facing Rodgers at the dippers is finally starting to sink in as well.
No bias in this post. Utd, outplayed and lost at Everton, unconvincing wins at home to Fulham and away at Southampton - fighting for top 4 by Christmas.

City, unconvincing wins at home to Southampton & QPR, outplayed but scraped a point at Liverpool - decent start...

End of the day neither side is anywhere near their best at present but both are capable of scrapping for points when not on form. It's gonna be a long season and will seem even longer if we're going to start trying to write each other off every time one or other of the sides plays poorly.

Is Hart better than Van Persie? Bloody hell this thread took a strange turn

Hart takes a decent penalty but I bet RVP would struggle to save one ;)

Martin Tyler after Van Rapists goal: "Only the Premier league can write scripts like this"

Every fucking week...?

You just knew they'd win it.
