Yeah (he scored against us int the COC Final), they still paid £10m for him, got ripped off.Didn't he play on loan there a couple of seasons ago and did quite well but Sunderland baulked at the transfer fee Liverpool wanted ?

They wanted £14m and Sunderland agreed to pay it but Borini didn't want to go.Didn't he play on loan there a couple of seasons ago and did quite well but Sunderland baulked at the transfer fee Liverpool wanted ?
Am I talking shite or is Dembele better than all 3 of the players who are getting played before him, Mason, Dier and Bentaleb? Granted Dembele can be frustrating but I feel he's very good at retaining the ball and has it in his locker to create something and go beyond the striker which Mason, Bentaleb and zdier don't really have and it just becomes stagnant and predictable.
Quite likely, but in the case of just about all of them, just 'why' ?
What the fuck were they thinking when they bought everybody they have bought ? It's like Ed Woodward has been moonlighting as Spurs' d.o.f.
Defoe should never have to the MLS. I would love to have had him this season at Palace. He is exactly the sort of player we are missing. It's been an enjoyable game and Sunderland look much better.
I expect Son to score some wonder goals this season. Kane's being a bit too selfish and the Tottenham midfield is pretty average.
Well to be fair, only 1 maybe 2 ( Bentaleb? ) have been bought for that role, Dier was bought as a defender and Dembele bought aa few years back as an attacking !midfielder. But I do agree, far too many average players, they waited until deadline day to make an offer for Wanyama and Witsel, the guys a dunce. They've went from Modric to this.... That's not just a small drop, that'd a catastrophic drop in quality.
