He still makes his living by attending games and reporting on them, just like a commentator would.
I'm not saying he should be there instead of a blue, but what he does is just a consequence of how the modern game, coupled with our success, has impacted the club. I'm sure there are plenty of other spectators at our games that don't have the same affiliation with City that many of us do but scapegoating this chap because he has a public profile and makes a bit of money from it seems a bit unfair to me. Like I have said, I'm jealous I didn't think to do it myself!
As you point out, traditional media come to our games and are coloured by their own bias and editorial guidelines that they are bound to follow. This chap, from what I gather, turns up and gives a flavour of the matchday experience without any predjudice. This type of content is clearly popular amongst certain demographics, otherwise he wouldn't be at the game. So if he is there and is helping to raise the profile and reputation of the club then fair enough.
If he's doing videos at our ground just to slag us off or take the piss then fine, nobody should be helping him get tickets.
